They had been together for several months already, so Su Biluo knew his temper. She patiently placated him.

“We’re not causing a disturbance, it’s no trouble. Hubby ah, we’ll keep them at a distance, a place outside the fence so they can watch? How about that? You can even order a few soldiers to stand guard to prevent them from getting rowdy. Is that alright?”

“Not alright!” Mo Zichen was as stubborn as ever.

Su Biluo had to break it down for him. “My grand general ah, think about it. The whole reason you married me was for the sake of your army funds. Now, letting them come and watch will be making money for your army. Isn’t this even more just and honorable? And won’t the officers and soldiers be so proud of themselves?”

Mo Zichen found himself concentrating, as if her words were reaching him.

Su Biluo struck while the iron was hot. “Besides, once the Northern Mo people see how heroic the Mo army is, they will go back and spread the word, and in no time all of Cloudwind Continent will know. In this way you can strike awe into the neighboring nations. Right? Right? All the officers in the Mo Family Army are so handsome, so skilled. If we had a cell phone and took a pic and sent it out, wahh, that would really be something, you would get so many followers…”

She was getting more and more excited as she talked, gesticulating wildly. Mo Zichen was looking at her with a muddled expression and she stopped short.

Mo Zichen asked earnestly, “Huh? Cell phone? Get what followers?”

“Uh—” She stopped her gesturing, embarrassed, and took a deep breath. “No-nothing.”

She steeled herself and went over and hid her petite figure in his robe and drew circles on his chest with her finger. She pouted cutely, “Say yes, just say yes. This one thing will bring so many benefits, what’s wrong with that? I guarantee they won’t make any trouble!”

Mo Zichen breathing was clipped and his face was getting more and more keyed up. He suddenly shot his hand out and grabbed Su Biluo’s hand so hard she couldn’t help but knit her brows.

“Alright! You guarantee that that won’t make any trouble. Also, you can only do this for a month. They can see all they need to see in a month, and you will make the money you need to make. And that will be the end of it!” Mo Zichen’s teeth were clenched as he gave his consent.

He realized that ever since he married this young woman, with her headful of strange ideas, his tolerance level had changed again and again.

“As you command!” Su Biluo straightened up at once and saluted. “Don’t worry, Hubby, I was only planning to make some quick money as capital. My main focus is elsewhere, not here!”

She naughtily cocked her brow and shot him a charming look. Mo Zichen cleared off at once and explained the situation to Mo Yü, then went back to the training grounds.

Mo Yü called over several rank-and-file soldiers to maintain order, then marked out a large spot on a high incline so the people could sit on the slope and watch. From up on the slope, they could see everything clearly.

Su Biluo watched with them, and she sat next to Liu Ruyan.

However, Liu Ruyan didn’t notice Su Biluo sitting beside her because her eyes were fixed on the training grounds. No! Not just her eyes, her entire soul! All of her was fixed on the training grounds.

Curious, Su Biluo followed her line of sight, which, unwavering, was planted firmly on Mo Zichen.

The soldiers on the grounds were practicing their spearplay. Their shouts lingered in the air, their movements uniform and synchronized, their spirits roused. You could say it was a magnificent sight. The one leading the men was Mo Yu.

As for Mo Zichen, he stood off to the side, practicing his horsemanship and archery by himself. His cloud-piercing arrow whizzed and stuck in the center of the target in the distance. He never missed once.

Whether he was galloping on his horse and shooting, or crouched low over the saddle, or even hanging under the saddle or clinging to the side of his horse’s belly, every time he loosed an arrow, it hit the center of the target without the slightest deviation.

Aside from his consummate skill, his heroic, dashing bearing was like a general descended from the heavens, a sight that warmed the heart and delighted the eye.
